A Long March 2F rocket carrying the Tiangong II space lab blasted off at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in Northwest China on September 15. Sinopec’s Great Wall Lubricant provided lubricating service for the launch.

“Tiangong II has much more rigorous requirements for lubricants on durable stability, viscosity-temperature characteristics and environmental protection performance than ever before,” Wang Jun, Director of Space Lubrication Technology Development Center of Sinopec Lubricant Company said, “The service life of our lubricant products is significantly longer than the designed life of overall unit.”
